Cs favor Ts? (Part 2)

To sum it up

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for feedback I got from you guys who addressed my topic directly.
To make my argument clearer, i'll say this:

CS map: Areas to defend = 1 (The hostage location)
DE map: Areas to defend = 2 (Bomb site A and Bomb Site B)
Verdict: CT's have more difficult objective to protect than do the TS.

Side note: Often, Ts can walk into a bombsite that is completely open, and ONLY have to play defense until detonation.

DE map: T's only need to launch ONE successful attack on either bomb site A or bomb site B in order to be able to plant the bomb and assume defensive role until detonation. (Average assaults required:= 1)
CS map: CT's must launch a successful attack on hostage location to extract hosties, and more often than not, they must launch yet another successful assault to get back to spawn.
(Average Assault Required= 2)

Verdict (CTs are more often required to assume the offensive (the more difficult role) than are the Ts.

Thus the game is inherently favoring Ts.

Example: In Office and many cs maps there are two sets of hosties. BOTH SETS must be rescued for cts to win.

However, in DE maps, there are two bomb sites, yet only one must be destroyed for Ts to win!

CS is not pro T, but a few maps are pro T and a few maps are pro CT. And that sucks.

It's just the nature of the game types. On CS maps T's have the advantage because it's easier to camp than to rush. On DE maps the CT's have the advantage simply because the T's are now forced to rush.

Both sets dont have to be rescued. You can kill the other two or kill 3 and rescue one.

Yes, DE and CS make for both sides to switch attacking/defensive roles BUT

The assaulting role of CTs is much more difficult for CTs on a CS map, than is the assaulting role of Ts on a DE map. (Because CTs much launch an assault an average of 2 times whereas Ts must only assault on an average of 1.) Not only that, CTs can never assume a long time "firm" defensive position on CS maps because they must return to hostage extraction zone. Ts, on the other hand can assume a fortified defensive position on both DE AND CS maps, because DE maps allow for Ts to defend once bomb is planted.

Also, the defensive role of CTs on a DE map is much more difficult than the defensive role of Ts on a CS map. Simple: Defending two places is harder than defending one.

The requirements placed on CTs are much harsher than those placed on Ts in order to win both CS and DE maps

I've told you once and I'll tell you again... it has nothing to do with luck... it has everything to do with SKILLZ.

That model works on the basis that on CS maps the entire CT team go for the hostages together straight away and the Terrorist team stays at their spawn location with the hostages. This just doesn't happen in reality. Both teams pan out across the map and since there are about the same amounts of routes and chokepoints in DE and CS maps, that's where the round is decided. True T's can get lucky and go into an ungaurded bombsite, but it works both ways. Hostages are often left ungaurded and it's entirely possible to nab them and tail it back to spawn without meeting a T.

IGNOT WROTE: "Both teams pan out across the map and since there are about the same amounts of routes and chokepoints in DE and CS maps, that's where the round is decided."

Sure in a pub, people often run around and just look for kills, but the objectives are still there, and if a bomb goes off or a hostie was rescued, the match wasn't determined at a chokepoint.

AND

How about in scrims and matches with teams that know what they're doing and coordinating their movements? Then the model works quite well IMHO.

wow Winbacker, a good CT team that nows how to choke the Ts at certain situations will win because the CTs are given more routes in de maps, WHOA REALLY, they also get to camp the bomb, and they can get to all choke points in a map easily. Ill sum up advantages in popular de maps and why.
De_dust2= ill admit Ts have an advantage, if they do the look through the door manuever they can seriously kill cts.
De_dust= being able to reach choke points in the bombsites and tunnels first give CTs a huge advantage, camping Terrorists can thawrt this though
De_prodigy= Canyon camping behind spools and camping above garage, nuff said.
De_tides= again CTs can get everywhetre first and they can camp the very large bombsites
De_Chateau= HOLY CRAP, just camp anywhere in the map and youll win, you have access to the bombsites and all good camp spots 4 seconds before the Ts
De_Cbble= Again CTs can camp at great spots to kill Ts stuck in shoke points, Ts have multiple ways to go, but the bombsites are close and CTs can manuveur around easily.
De_train= can glitch to T spawn, can get all in the pipes, can camp at all high points and dark spots is the CT advantage, and the bombsites are easily manuevered between spawn.
