Oh dear. After about fifteen seconds of refreshing my server list in CS:S everything stops.... Stop the update, then restart and I get "Could not connect to master server", or something like that.
The best bit is that when I quit the game, my IP stack is totally trashed. Explorer doesn't work, mail is down etc etc. Switch off router, then back on, still broken. Log out, log in, still broken. Switch off pc, back on, still broken.
The only solution: switch off PC. Router off, back on. PC back on, log in, everything is now working again. I've tried this so many times I'm having trouble controlling my temper, so don't ask me to do it again... ;-)
Funny thing is HL2: DM is fine, just CS:S is broken.
To save the inevitable q's (tho' probably doesn't matter)
