CS:S connectivity problem

hello everyone. i try to join a server. i get to the server, but it never lets me choose a side. i just sit there then maybe after 5 min it says i timed out. any help?!?!! i have cable internet, i'm fast as hell, i dont know the issue. HELP! i wanna pwn!

I get that too, When I enter into CS:S and try and join a server it only shows a hand full of slow servers for some reason

problem solved

just disable ur firewall. for some reason thats what was screwin me.
