CS:S doesnt save favourites any more.

My CS:S stopped saving my favourite servers list suddenly. Any ideas how i might fix this? Where are favourites stored?

Odd... it saves my favorites perfectly. No clue why it isn't working for you though. Did you try the Steam Support on Steampowered.com?

tfc and opposing force favorites dont save for me, but not bothered myself. My advice to dipso is to just check out your recent list

Anyone know where the favourites are saved? cause i get a favourites list it just doesnt update, so i though either deleting it or checking if it was read only might be a good start at killing this bug.

With me steam doesn't save anything most of the time, but sometimes it saves, so lets say with cs it saved my history on november 25th, and even now if I open it I see that, once in a few months it saves the settings, also I have trouble opening my console, cause unless I type two times "a" it closes immisetly, and my keybord is set to english.

It does work, in a fashion.

Favs save but sometimes they randomly vanish.

Servers keep randomly vanishing from my list, my CS:S favs list also differs when im viewing it from within source and when im viewing it from outside of source, wierd.

Odd servers vanish from the list, even though they dont go down and the ips do not change or anything.

It worked fine for me, but since the latest update it doesn't save them anymore.

In CSS my favourites have disappeared too. Doesn't even save the recently played servers either. My Steam favourites still work fine though.

Favourites was working fine for me until this new update. I lost all my favourites, so went back and added some. I ran CS:S again later and the new favourites had vanished too! :O

Same here. Always worked perfectly for me before. Since the update my favorites are empty and can't save new ones. WTF!

Same. Mine used to save favourites. This new update deleted them all, and then refused to save the servers when I added them. Stupid, too...

I guess it's time for VALVe to release another patch to fix this patch. Like the maps, though.

you can use the server browser built into steam, infact i found out after re adding my favorites 5 times, that it keeps multiple records of the same server! this needs fixing...

its weird the steam servers option(click on steram,go to servers)saves my favs like peeps said,all of them are there even after the update but when i go to cs:s and click on favs theres none,i copied the ip address from steam servers and pasted them in in cs:s favs but they usually are erased after a day

the thing is in the steam servers i have lots of the same servers,like i copied 1 into cs:s favs from the steam 1 and now in the steam servers i have 2 links there,it didnt recognise it was already there so its quite cluttered :frown:
