CS:S MAp making tut. anywhere?

I would really like it if someone knew where to get a CS:S mapping tut. Im new to it. Sorry

basically just how to get started. Me and a few freinds put together some maps and would just like to try and make them. Currently i followed a hammer map making for cs. I have the box and the info_player_start entity and a light. I try to compile it and it will not start cs:s....

i try to open it in cs:s and i get this error:

CModelLoader::Map_IsValid: No such map 'map'
map load failed: map not found or invalid

That entity is for HL2, you need to use the T or CT one.

Anable's link is more reference than tut, is there anywhere something that walks you through making a simple map?

I just made a tutorial in wordpad with pics and all, but I've got nowhere to host it and its 23 megs so too big for attachment.. if anyone has any idea what I can do with it tell me..

you have to copy the map from the sdk folders into css.
