I already posted this on VERC source mapping forum but got no answer.
When I compiled lately and played the map all my static prop entities were whited out. They were completely white even in the dark.

They didnt obey the nearest light sources brightness, colour or ambience parameters. And all other things were fine: map geometry, brushes, dynamic entities. The only other things that were wrong was the water (which is probably unrelated) and some func_detail brushes were displaying the same ****ed up lighting. They were static doors I made with brushes.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? I already checked Interlopers Error Checking site which displays lods of common hammer compiler errors and hl2 errors but this one wasnt listed.
Thanks in advance for those who reply.

when you are in the game type in console: buildcubemaps
which will make it a bit more simple GonzoBabbleshit

your cubemaps need building.

type 'buildcubemaps' at the console

;)

The best thing you can do is to type "buildcubemaps" at the console when in-game.

:p

yeah... feel that glory... aaahhhhh.... :E

but to get back on topic, you can:
1) run cs:s
2) load your map
3) go to the console
4) type 'buildcubemaps'

try to be more helpful like I am, ok guys! ;)
