Was just about to post this, but accidently posted it in Half-Life: Source forum :/
 
Wow :D

this is very cool.... looks much better than the still images :)

I like the ak and how it fires. And the barrels physics.. the grenades need some work though. The frag grenade has a weird bounce.. like the doom3 grenade. And the smoke grenade.... you drop it, and suddenly theres smoke.... coming from nowhere :s, the smoke itself looks great.
The flashbang looks good..

looks nice! cant wait to play this
 
The bump mapping is especially awesome in motion...

its an ok video. as far as videos showing mostly nothing go. but its the first ingame video ive seen recorded in the actual game since the e3 movie so im gonna give it a 5/10 someone make a movie showing some actual people playing.

I could upload it, but theres a text file saying "This CS Source trailer is copyrighted by Boomtown. If you've found it anywhere else, please notify [email protected]."

so I dont want my host (which is provided to me free by a friend (Veridian)) to get into trouble.
 
I made the video, and we're putting up a gameplay/MP video later tonight around 18 PM hopefully. This features more weapons such as Colt, Scout, AWM, P90 and more. It's about 6 minutes long and weighs in about 200 mb. I'll post here when I'm sure it's up.

I dont want to get into trouble with Boomtown though (as I said I dont need to stress out my host)

I guess since my editor put the copyright notice alongside with it, and it is unique content for Boomtown, you'd better ask permission for mirroring. Don't wanna get anyone in trouble.

I think it would be best if we just left it alone, at least for now.

sorry guys, I will mirror it when they give permission (if they do) but I wont risk my host getting in trouble for a CS:Source videos.
 
Uhh, i think it is already mirrored on 3Dgamers and FP....the video of the Ak and barrels/nades at least.

btw, the 3rd vid from kingthebadger isn't on your mirror yet... it's the best of the 3 so...

When you have, could you please make a nice post with the new links... then I can get my mirror offline later (don't wanna get in trouble with my ISP ;( )
 
Guys just join boomtown - it's free. They'll be getting A LOT of cs:s media in the week, so having an account there is actually pretty useful.

Edit: they have a fresh 6 minute action movie - get it fast!

you can delete it if you want, I do have it... I just cant upload right now (will be able to in about 30 min)

when I get a chance to upload that third vid I will (you can merely click on my link in my sig )

Downloading the 6min vid will have to wait... I have the Boomtown-account but my ISP does have a limit to what I can download on a month so I should spread it... (+ downloading @ night only counts for half)

OMG CS:S owns all...

It's been in the *first phase of beta* for about a day, and it's already flooding the internet twice as much as Doom 3.

I think it's going to clinch the win for HL2 when release comes around.

Look long and hard at Source. This is the next big thing ^^

thanks for hosting those videos. the thrid one was by far the most entertaining. why were they so choppy? recorded on a sub par system? fraps sucks? laggy connection?


i like the part where he got blinded and he see's the ct with the para get killed.
