CS:S servers busy

I got home, started Steam, and it said it was going to preload CS:Source! NOT! It then said the servers are too busy and to try again in a couple of Hours. Later I reopened Steam, but this time, no preload statement, no nothing. Why won't it preload now? Is there a place I can make it check for updates?

Have you used the "exit and logout" to later log in again?

Well the Beta should appear in your games list, I haven't tried clicking on that but what if you log out and come back in? does it give you the option to pre-load again? And keep trying if you get the "servers are busy" message, it'll work after a short while.

It should show up after you restart it...it actually showed up in my list without me restarting! LOL!

That may be it. I just closed Steam (Exit) I didn't logoff.. I don't think so.... I don't know. I'm at work (busy as you can tell ) so I'll try it when I get home. /me crosses fingers...
