cs:s stand alone version ?

does anyone know if there's already an other way to get cs:s besides buying the whole hl2 pack ?

So ... are there stand alone versions ? (online or retail)

No, CSS is sorta part of HL2, since it was it's MP when it was released. Besides, CSS standalone would probably cost like 30, so why not spend 50 and get both HL2 and CSS?

because it's my brother who's interested... but he's only interested in CS. So maybe i could buy him a stand alone for Christmas.
Since I've just bought a new pc 2 play hl2 on , I can't afford expensive gifts at this moment

Now he's plyn cs:s on my account , but its stupid we cant play simultaniously. ;(
