CS:SOURCE cant connect to servers!?

I start up cs:source like i do every day... but this time, every server i try to join, it gets to 'sending client info' and just stops there...

i can ctrl+alt+del to get out of the program, but othjer than that, the program just freezes...

does anyone know a fix or why this is happening... thanks
