CS: Source Dilema

I am a huge fan of CS. I just played the beta at my friends house the other day and it was amazing. I was banking on getting it from Steam as soon it was released.

However, it was my b-day last week and my friends got me a retail copy of HL2 collectors edition on pre-order so now I have to wait until it is released in stores. I love them for getting me the game but I am so pissed that I have to wait now. :frown:

If its a decent store you should be able to get your money back if you ask them nicely and with a receipt.

I would if I had the reciept. My friends got me Unreal Tourney 2004 with a sticker on it that said, "We also got you HL2"

I can't go to them and be like, hey thanks for the gift, but I'm an impatient bastard. Can you give me the reciept so I can get the money back at the store and purchase it thru Steam.


Besides, I already cancelled my preload and I'm not willing to download it again.
