Anyone know where I can upload them? YouSendIt is great, but not reliable.

I can just rar all 11 videos, 3 screenshots (1920x1440), and a 40 second sound clip. Then whoever wants to post it... :p

RAR file is: 207MB

I'm going to try fileplanet or something. Offer if you can!

Im afraid my host rocks, but I only have about 60mb total of host space.

Make a ton of .rars 1mb in size, change the extension to .jpg and then upload them all to imageshack

btw SubKamran, how do you get your FRAPS output movies to save as 60fps.. the highest option I see is 30fps.

I record them at 25fps. :|

Oh, and a nice fellow (glHalfLife) offered to host it for me, it's 299MB. I added 3 more high quality videos. :rolling:

why do they look so smooth when played back then?

Yeah, they run much smoother than other FRAPS recorded CSS media I have seen...

I don't know, lol, I record at half-size, 25fps. 30fps slows it down quite a bit. While recording it says the fps are about 25 average...sometimes it goes down to 15.

I think taking the HD from my other comp and plopping it in might make it faster. :imu:

I also have 1GB DDR 3200 RAM. :p That may help. I encode them with VirtualDub, DivX High Def profile, 8000mbps (the newest ones), excellent quality, but twice the size.

not the frames being displayed onscreen.. the actual output option.. it only goes up to 30 right?

mine doesnt look as smooth as yours does (albeit Im recording CS as a test) and I record at 30fps.

Yes, I use 25. 30 slows it down too much.

weird, I dont see a fps decrease between 25-30fps settings. (both impact it about the same)

I dunno maybe it looks better since its CS:S and It only appears smoother.. I will have to take my own CS:S vids and see.

Hmmm, it kicked me off because it took so long to upload. ;(

Now I need to find somewhere else.

Great job SubKamran!

My HDD is full of cs:s stuff now. Both for people who want it hosted and for my own viewing pleasure.

I'll be going to play cs:s myself tommorow - can't wait! :D

split the rar into a couple 50-60mb chunks.

what I mean is, group a couple vids into a rar and upload that... dont make one long rar and index it/split it so people need all the rars to unrar it.

just create a couple independant rars with a couple vids in each.

like "flashlights.rar" and then "weapondemonstrations.rar"
etc.

I'll add them to their own RAR file.

King, you get the MP videos.

Get the files up on a reliable host and I will put them up on my BT Tracker.

SubKamran. I will create a folder called "CSS Media from SubKamran" and move all your stuff into that folder from the upload folder. Thanks.
