I am in the works of trying to get a CS:S server online but keep running into this error as HLDS Update Tool gets past the cstrike and hl2 folder with things:
failed to create directory d:\hl2server\reslists\counter-strike: source Win32 Error 267 "The directory is invalid."
I have no idea why it keeps trying to create a folder with a : in it... of course it is invalid!!
its definately something to do with the colon in the folder name! win32 doesn't support colons in file/folder names
anyone know what i should do? thanks.
