Whenever I play any game on steam it will randomaly downsize to the desktop but when I go back into the game my screen will be black. Everthing else will be just fine, except the whole screen is black and there is nothing I can do to change it except ctrl+alt+delete to the desktop and end CS.

I still need help....it seems to also happen with joint ops demo, but that is it.

What background programs do you have running?

Also, have you ran adaware and spybot to check for spyware on your computer?

yeah sometimes happens to me too. I just never thought to post it. Thought I was the only one. Oh well.

Hmm, I haven't checked my spyware recently, I will do that now. I have a few programs running, steam, zonealarm, anti virus but that is about it.
