Css folder

OK I just reinstalled css because it was to cluttered with skins and sounds, and i redownloaded it and I went to look into my css folder and nothing was in there... this happens to all of my source games and its very iritating, any help? (Redownloaded from steam)

The game itself is stored in the GCFs, and extracted at runtime, there's no need for the folders unless it's content you don't want loading from the GCFs. Think of it this way, Steam just uses the GCFs, but folders take priority. So anything you put in the folder that would take the place of something from th GCF would get loaded
