ok im at work im bored and im planing out a map.
i just need to know if its possible to make breakable objects.
an example is shooting out support beems on a small bridge and the bridge collapsing.???
is that senario possible using the new hammer and SDK tools?

thanks

Yes, it is. Make a wooden plank for example, tie it to a func_breakable entity, and voila, a wooden, breakable support. Of course you can expand your horizons and experiment with that, but I will leave that up to you.

Thanks ray man will alot of breakable objects chug the map up?

this is my first thread on a forum whoo hoo someone replied...

no really thanks for the info. it sure does make a lot more ideas that have been floating around for a long time fiesable.

they wont necessarily slow it down, it depends where they are placed. Avoid lots of random crap in the firefight areas. Even then, you have a good amount of give.

Also, when you make a breakable support, you have to make it so it doesnt take damage from the weight of the bridge. Somewhere in the properties (if that helps any)
