CSS Only showing up 56 servers !

Okey , When I browse for CSS servers I only get at max 56 servers.
Also when I put some servers in my favorites they are not responding.

I have a router with no firewall .
Windows firewall is OFF.
What is the problem , What is blocking ???

What should I do to get the full list of servers ?Thanks.

instead of finding over 1000 servers, the most i get is like 50, and most are empty :angry:

That is exactly what I get, and this is for everygame.

I am on wireless and can't seem to manage to get over 100 servers..

Steam needs to fix that problem.

It worked perfect on the WON servers with CS 1.5 ..

It's funny because whenever I search for servers, all I get are servers with 1000+ ping. Of course it's wrong, but that's all I get. It's actually quite funny.

even if your router doesnt have a firewall, you still might need to configure it properly.

altho... i just bought a belkin router, and set it up right, but i dont seem to get as many hits as i used to either. with a > 250 ping filter i get about 250 servers. without the filter i get just over 1000, so i dunno. seems i used to get like 6-700 just using the > 150 filter.

maybe alot of server ops have said "screw source" and moved on to other games. almost every server i play has admin messages spammed every 5 minutes saying "We need donations!", etc. so maybe there are just actually less servers out there, period.

Well all i can say is i am happy as i have plenty of servers coming up with decent pings and i am also on a Wireless Netgear Router.

I might have the answer.

Open up Steam, and from the main window, rather than choosing "Play Games," choose Servers. Now, from there, click on "Game" and switch it to your desired game. Now try updating the server list.

that actually kind of worked. im getting about 500 servers

all source servers? usually when i filter for source i get the same amount as in game.
