Anyone tried this? It's basically a modification for SMOD only adding maps from Counter-Strike Source, and also some new that I've not seen before, with various objectives on each level ranging from rescuing hostages, kill all enemies or assassinate a certain character.

Except for the original weapons from Half-Life 2, with new beefier gun sounds, there's also some new weapons including a MP5SD, SVD and AK-47. Apart from new weapons there's also new enemies like Combine's wearing riot shields, speedhacked Combine's and more.

It's also possible to play the singleplayer with CSS SCI FI, so if you think the original is too easy you could always jump over to this.

Lastly, the mod comes with this configuration tool in which you can configure the mod to your liking. This includes difficulty, how many enemies you'll face and allies you can have with you, the amount of gore, the amount of weapons you can carry around; be it unlimited, 10 max limit or only one weapon for each type or slot, so if you have a rifle you need to drop it in order to pick up another type of rifle and more.

I've not played the original SMOD that much because it crashed way too often. However this has been much more stable with only one crash so far (played for probably 15 hours in total).

One can view their website here or just go to the download area here.

NOTE: You don't need to download both SMOD and this, only CSS SCI FI is needed as it comes with the full version of SMOD and the SMOD configuration utility. Counter-Strike Source is needed.

You're Swedish? D:

This configuration tool you speak of, is it a tool as in a executable, or just a CFG file you can edit in Notepad?

I mean, do you need CSS, or do you need the models and textures of CSS?
