Aight guys, decided to give this a twirl with a new character earlier today, thought i'd give the PCG Number 1 in their Top 100 another go..all was going good, chose the name Mr. Vercetti but when i try and do other stuff, appearance etc. i just get thrown back to desktop, no messages or nuffin.

And help/advice appreciated

Don't play it with any IM programs up, including Xfire.

Truuust me.

Playing games without Xfire running is hell. I hated F.E.A.R. for it's relative incompatability with Xfire. But if it fixes your problem it might be worth it.

P.S. When I saw the thread I thought CTD was a new spell or something. Evo casts Crash To Desktop on the Zombie Goasts for 200 points of damage.

No, trust me. When I played it with xfire, it would randomly just turn off, as if I had clicked exit. It didn't save or anything, and there was no warning whatsoever, other than it mostly happened after a loading screen. Then I turned off Xfire, and I was fine.
