the fact that he was listening to the game on the radio so he could hear the announcer talk about how he ruined the game makes it even more hilarious

How exactly did he ruin the game?

he stole the ball from moises alou who was about to catch the foul ball and get the guy out, but instead the fan got the ball and then the guy at the plate hit a single, and one thing led to another, BOOM 8 run inning and the cubs lose the game.

8th inning, cubs were up 3-0, it was 1 out, one man on base and the florida guy hit a pop fly that was out of bounds but was still in field, right next to the wall. the cubs guy jumped up to catch the ball and that fan managed to catch the ball before it landed in glove, by inches, litterally. after that the guy got on base and than florida started getting all these runs.
