Hey, thought it would be cool to start a thread about the movies that are out now, and give a bit of a review on them. Also to forwarn about a dud (but I hope that there arent many of those around!). So yeah, look forward to reading everyones reviews!

Corpse Bride.

It's a Tim Burton film with Depp, enough said.

I've heard about A history of violence... it isn't out in Australia... waiting for it! Did you know that we got Bad Santa TWO YEARS after the U.S? How much does that suck?

I'm a film buff and I would never see any of those movies ..well maybe 40 yr old virgin ..just cuz it's something I cant relate to .....I'm not 40 :naughty:

Corpse Bride is clever as can be, and 40 Year Old Virgin is both funny and not stupid like you'd expect.

But my vote goes to Serenity by a mile.

I'm just glad good movies are finally coming out (History of Violence, Serenity, Lord of War, Thumbsucker). This summer ****ing sucked for movies.

I saw Serenity today, entertaining movie. Havent seen any of the other movies up there so it gets my vote.

The majority of movies in 2005 were teh shitteh.

Batman Begins was good, I thought Lord of War was mediocre, but still impressive little bit showcasing the dirty reality of handheld weapons.

I know there were some others I thought were pretty cool, just can't bring them up.
