Hey,
You know all things like ... lite something... and styleXP
well basically programs to change windows to fit you better.
Well i've had an idea, of which i've had before but never thought it'd be that good...as i hate having to redo settings on windows after an install.
but what about COMPLETELY CUSTOM BACKGROUNDS ! basically everything you want...where you want it!
-You can have a webpage in a window in windows, which is pretty cool... but not quite competely custom...
-Next step is the whole thing being something like flash!
-And the thing to stop you reloading LOADS when you re-install? well 4 files: 1 html page linking to flash, 1 flash.swf, 1 target-variables, 1 shared object.
So you load the html page (like the cool countdown timer thingy) and it has a flash file as big as your screen res (either vectors for any res or kept to your screen res) and it loads your "target-variables" so things like "my documents" can be linked to, and games etc... OR you can 'create' an icon using some flash coding (pre-done in the flash) and set the name and icon and link address and save it via a shared object. That way its saved for when you restart your pc! (if you like your layout and links, just save the shared object!).
So you can make your own calenda's, timers, clocks, dates, links, styles, colours... and put stuff wherever you want it! (activating grid-snapping if you want )
What do you think? If i made a flash version would you use it?
