Custom Modelling tips, please help! :)

Hi, I have made a few singleplayer HL2 levels and tried my hand at scripting, but I have never imported custom models into the Source engine.

However, I am just about to finish uni, and my first personal project will be a small singleplayer HL2 mod, with a few set-pieces. I will not be able to get around importing custom content.

Mapping, texturing and scripting doesn't really worry me, as I've got some experience in all of them, but I am at a loss for the modelling.

Could anyone with more skills than me (so, ANYBODY, lol) give me some pointers or tips?

Or an outline of the modelling process for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
 
Game-Artist.net should be able to help you out with tutorials and advice.
