custom spray sizes

What is the max size (pixel x pixel) for custom sprays?

(I'm sure I posted on here about this before but I can't find the thread with the answer in it now!).

2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256 etc.

I think it resizes to 512 or something automatically.

Well, it depends really. If your image that you want to show is 100 x 250, it'll show it that way. It might stretch it out a bit in either way but it'll keep it in the "shape" it is. Now, if your talking about transparent spray and using the VTF convertor, it needs to either be 256x256 or 512x512.

Can someone explain how this Vtex thinge works... I got it to create those vtm en vtf files and then? how does it work... yes I'm a noob at this LOL
