Last I heard it ws TBA '07 but with the way things are sounding (from press impressions and from the state of the game) it seems like it could be out this summer or fall at the latest.

I want to mod Quake Wars (although to be honest, I didn't see anything I could improve. It looks fantastic), but I want to wait until the dust settles over DX10 to get a new PC.

All the while I'm tempted to pick up a 360 here for Quake Wars, and all of the 360 games that might not be coming for PC ever, if not anytime in the near future: Gears of War, Halo 3, Forza Motorsport 2, Wolfenstein 360, Too Human, Tony hawk's Project 8, Fable 2, medal of Honor: Airborne, Alan wake
, rainbow six Vegas, Splinter Cell (maybe), GTA 4 + episode downloads, Resident Evil 5, you know, I could sit here and make this list way too long, but you know - things like that. I'm sure a few of them will come for PC, most notably the War games, but there are tons of others that won't. So I can't turn my back on consoles.


GTA5 and RE5 alone are enough to make me buy a console. If they lower the price of it significantly, I'll go buy one, and build an awesome PC later down the road. If not, I'll just sit here and wait them out. I can play Doom3 and Prey forever.
