CVG Strikes Again: a Portal Preview [spoilers?]

The team have recently given the murderous turrets in the game voices - and even a range of personalities.

They speak in the sweetest, friendliest possible robot voice as you come near ("Hello?") and even as they open fire ("Goodnight."). Some, the 'inquisitive child' personality ones, even remain genial when you topple them: "I don't hate you," they reassure as they spasm and shut down. Others are more alarmed: "Who ARE you?" one demanded fearfully, as I grabbed it from behind. I used her to block a torrent of fire from the next turret I encountered, and she cried out to her fellow: "It's me! It's me!"

It is a preview. He played Portal. His job is to tell you what the game offers and how it plays.
Really, what do you want? Plus,he didn't give spoilers.

The turret behaviour is awesome! Harder play-throughs of the game is great and i love the fact the team will make what we want. I think they should prepare testing Multiplayer and create more content

Not to mention user-made levels..

I disagree. Alyx is half black, half asian...black obviously coming from Eli, and asian possibly coming from this character...

That's so totally weird that it just might be true. Eli doesn't say much about her in Black Mesa East: just "you remember my wife [aislin?], don't you?", which might suggest that she's in the same general research-science field... or just that Gordon met her sometime. Dunno.

Well, we don't know when Portal takes place, my guess is sometime during Gordon's stasis, so we can't really know that she's too old.
