Hiro has been working on the p90 again, tweaking it a bit and he's looking for some crits.

it's 1930 tris right now, still has the non-visable polys, so the polys will be down a bit ingame.

Its a good model. I have some crits.

The model seems a little streched or squashed. It might be a bit skinny also. Couple errors around the handle areas. Some smooth groups on there may fix it.

but one thing, just make the model wider and bulkier.. I'm not sure.. don't take my vague advice because I don't crit models well :dork:

Your right, its a little too thin. Give it some bluk. Try studying pictures of a gun from many different angles and then make it. For the most part it looks better than anything I could do. Good work!

ahh, thanks for the crits folks. it's definatley too long thought that is easy to fix. Thoughit's actually the proper width. the handle has some massive smoothing errors wich i didn't notice until Side put it under some better lights. bear in mind i'm trying to get it around 1500-1600 poly's before optimizng.

There a parts of the handle that looks like it was squeezed.

I've never modelled a P90 so I don't really know much about what I'm talking about right now. The thing I have to comment on is that it looks much too short, height-wise. Are you using an accurate side reference picture in the background?

yeah i'm certain the heiht is coorect as well as the width but the length is definatley off after checking a few perspective ref pics. i was thinking this gun was about the lenght of an average arm when in reality it's onlt about elbow to finger length long... very accurate measuremnts eh?
