CZ Steam pre-order

i loaded Steam just now and got a popup on Steam asking if i wanted to pre-order it :E

this is one step closer to HL2 IMHO

so who else has gotten this popup? :cheers:

i have..and my other comp too...heheh...very neat...lol...i started to preorder to see what happens...and i cancelled it when it came to billing....lol...it says its downloading it right now

Pauly you didn't hack it, it automatically installs it for everyone. You don't even get charged to your credit card until the day the game comes out. Everyone can download it now (Or finish downloading whats already been snuck on to our systems). I think they finished the game up in December and have been sending it to us in bits ever since... Or close to then... not just recently cause it hasn't effected ping at all and Once you actually click Proceed to Pre-Install it does show up as downloading something, you can check and watch the Monitor Tab and IT DOES TAKE A WHILE, even at 370kbs its still taking some time on my computer. Pretty cool stuff, I just hope they don't delay HL2 3 months so they can trickle this onto our systems, the whole thing with Steam is getting the files fast, not having to wait or bother with updates... on demand gaming... I want HL2 as soon as the CD goes gold and gets distributed to stores... I don't want to have to wait for it to download on my PC! I really hope HL2 comes out in Sept. or sooner
