Damn game

Maybe this is not the place to post it.

The other day I decided to try Codition Zero for the single player.
First: I put the CD then run the instalation, then the CD jumps inside my DVD drive, I open it, of course all the dam CD was scratched, so in the morning I go to Office depot (in mexico) of course damn fat bastar said it was my fault. Great I buy I game and can't even play it.
My 1 question is, is he suposed to change the game?

Secondly, I managed to "reapair" the CD with a "CD Doctor" thing, it worked, I install the game, but then the masage comes " Condition Zero luncher Has detected an error and must chut down" and the usual : send report/ dont send

SO what am I suposed to do? Is this a CD malfunction?

Second : I think u can use Steam and download CZ then insert the CDKey u got.

but could there be a way to simply download CZ in Steam and just use your CD Key with it?

You can use Steam if you want to ... you can download CZ from Steam and enter your CD-Key and you will have the whole game!

Use a program like Isobuster to dump the CZ CD image to your HDD then mount it with Daemon Tools or Alcohol and install it from the virtual drive...
