Just when gas was going down ($1.20/Liter), hurricane ike comes along and now gas has shot up over 13 cents a liter since midnight, it's now around $1.36/Liter where we were about 2 months ago. Honestly, I can understand gas companies hiking up their prices due to a hurricane, but what is going to piss me off is that they won't lower it until months later even when there is MINIMAL or NO DAMAGE done to the refineries.

Honestly, some people have to commute long distances everyday and using public transportation or car pooling is either not possible or extremely time consuming. Oil has been down like what $45 in the last 2 months and it's now around $100/barrel...so why the HELL are prices still so high?? Why is it that gas companies are quick to hike up the prices when oil goes up but when it goes down they take like 20 years to go down. **** the gas companies, ****ing greedy ****s.

Still under $4 a gallon over here, not too shabby (Although for some reason everyone is freaking out and buying Smart cars like queerbos)

Gas is ancient, nobody uses it anymore.

Nuclear power is so much cooler.

yea, almost every gas station had huge lineups. I went around 7:30pm last night, the price was $123.9...the cheapest station i saw was $120.5 somewhere on the escarpment. I came home around 11 and there was still massive lineups at almost every station along the way home.

I wonder how long it's going to take until the prices go back down to the way they were...im assuming it'll take a few weeks probably month or so.

I also heard somewhere that by the new year gas will be around or under $1.00/Liter...but hey in the world of gas prices, rumors are just rumors and always expect unreasonable prices.

The closest gas station to me is $3.61 a gallon. But that is a Citgo and i don't buy Citgo. I usually fill up at Walmart since it is -3 cents a gallon if you use a gift card.
