I effing hate pep fests, incredibly loud music that makes all the gangstas dance uncontrolably and makes your ears bleed. Had to sit through 1 hour and a half of this crap, took me half an hour to get my lunch only to have some ****** steal my chips(****** not in a generalization term, just refering to the black guy who did steal my chips). I had to sit through an hour of a bunch of gangstas hippin and hoppin to da mad beats while my ears were bleeding. After all that BS the pep fest actually started and I had to sit next to a bunch of back to Africa girls(all wear the African stlye clothes and hair, atleast it is according to one of them). No real point to this post other than to bitch about how I hate pep fests and my day sucked, oh and I had to listen to my liberal teacher bash Bush for half an hour while the kiddies who think it is cool to hate Bush all joined in, an argument I would try to make would end in the teacher yelling at me "Bush is an idiot" along with the rest of the class...effing morons.

I had pep fest too, I sat with my friends and laughed at the stupid minorites freak out over bad music and watch our fat ass cheerleaders that can't dance, also our all white stepteam who can't hold a beat. Then we had to freak out because the football team came out who hasn't won a game since 1996 (No I am not kidding)

Haha, our football team has 1 fluke a year that we win, and we already wasted it on some crappy team. The back to Africa girls I was sitting next to kept FREAKING out over music I have never heard of. They would jump up and dance and scream incredibly loud...it was ****ing insane.

I went to a high school where the football team was actually pretty good and tried to get to state each year... just think how that was. :P We had a whole 'assembly' pretty much just for one guy to get some award.

That is what the pep fest is all about, congratulating a bunch of arrogant assholes for being on the football team, the same assholes who enjoy laughing at you and such...****ers.

I don't care how racist that sounds, when I see a white guy jump up and go "N*GGA THAT'S MA JAM YO!" and yell out the lyrics I won't have to generalize it, or if I see a white guy run thru the halls knocking down everyone infront of them say "MOVE BITCH, GET OUT THE WAY" and getting in a fight over getting their shoes dirty.

You mean kicks? I accindelty stepped on some bitches shoe(just the side of it too) with my massivley uber boots and she said "you best not be trippin' yo" or somthing like that and I said "Its not my fault my boots are better than your shoes" And then she said "Whateva, whateva" and started doing stuff with her hands...I think that is what happened because I was walking through a crowd of gangstas.

pep fest is the same thing as a pep rally? cause thats what i have to go to in my school.

And foxtrot, does the football team pick on you or something?

I didn't mean to generalize all minorites, that was wrong, just a little pissed from the whole day.

Haha, we don't have pep (their called rallies where I am) fests at our high school anymore.

The last one was the killer. It was supposed to be an innocent game, each class had someone to kiss the mascot, and then everyone would see who one. However, the mascot ended up getting gang raped pretty much. so we don't have pep rallies anymore :P

School spirit type things always blow, kinda like a casual day at work, they just have them so you don't shoot up the place. I never dress for them and people are always on me about it. Althought I did laugh me ass off when I saw 2 goths walking side by side each wearing a shirt that said "You laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because your all the same"

Social ranks suck balls.

:naughty: We don't have pep fests, we got "Rally's" only in football season, just cheerleaders cheering on stage while some shit plays, nobody flips out over it though.

Not really pick on me, but they are arrogant assholes who think football is the meaning of life and they are amazed that I have no interest whatsoever on how many games they are going to lose.

Ah, well my pep rallies are pretty fun cause most of us just mess around and get in trouble, so many of us packed in one area...no teacher can calm us down, its great. Last year, they had a big arch of string with baloons tied around it so when one of the schools team went up (it was the baseball team i think, even tho half of us werent on the team) we all tackled the big arch and had like a massive dogpile of like 50 kids. Chaos is fun. (although the principal went ****ing crazy)

Plus it gets you out of clase and i get to goof off with my friends.

 Ever seen Cowboy Bebop? All racial barriers have been broken in that anime. Where I live too. You could get away saying Nigga, ******, Cracker, Nip, Beaner.... whatever! I mean you catch some teacher saying, "Cuh!" , "Nigga!" and all that crap, nobody really gives a shit... that's one of the reasons why I love Cali, all racial tensions tossed to the side. Well atleast the area I live in.

I was throwing some permanent markers at people. Some gay kid was dancing and shaking his ass in my friends face, so he got a marker in the back of the head.

If you say ****** or nigga in my school you get beat and lynched. Although any racial comment towards white people seems to be OK. You can say ****** to just one black guy and direct it only to him but every single person who heard it will call you a racist, and then you get beat.

lmao, see thats the shit im talking about. My friends and i are always throwing crap at random people and kids that are stupid.

(at the last pep rally, they passed out cookies or something in zip lock bags so we took em and threw them into crowds of people...)

wow, feels good to live in western pennsylvania.

There are only like 5 black kids in my entire school. Some people criticize the area I live, they call it a "bubble".

I'd rather live in a bubble than in some ghetto town with a bunch of assholes thinking they're gangstas

:dozey: Back in 9th grade and 10th grade me and my friends would get baby powder, put it in our palms, and slap people in the crowd. I mean in the quad area by the performances stage it would be packed, so we just slapped random people and wouldn't know who would slap who, if they did, it would be hard to catch us. It was so fun. It became like a whole school thing, then the school admins got started to get pissed, as some kid was like nearly blinded in the shit. I think they were really pissed because the powder was everywhere, all up in the grass and shit.

I just go home when we have them..
I tried to, but I knew I had no food at home so I stayed for lunch but the lines were huge, when I finnaly got it some ****** stole my food and then I finished it and by that time all the doors were being watched :( Our school has a huge staff that aren't teachers, to stop fights and stuff. We use to have a guy that would be called in just to stop a fight, he use to be a wrestler or somthing.

I skipped the first 2 pep fest we had (we had one every day this week) so I got 1 hour off each day except today when they had the gestapo going around the whole school.

I hate teachers like you described Foxtrot. They piss me off to no end. Luckily, most of the teachers I have had engage in real debates and allow serious debate, not unneeded bashing. A teacher shouldnt be expressing their political persuasions in class, it should be up to the students to duel it out with the teacher providing insightful questions to both sides.

Um, they're not opressing his right to free speech. They're stopping fights. As in brawling I assume.

Wow, really promoted his right to free speach, if it supported Kerry that is.

whats a pep fest?

Crowd students into a large area, show off the sports teams/cheerleaders and show school pride

I go to school to learn, once I put in my 4 years I am out, and I won't look back on High School as the "good ol' days"
