Counter-Strike: Condition Zero Delayed?

It's just a rumor (NOTE: RUMOR RUMOR RUMOR) at this point, but there seems to be some indication that Counter-Strike: Condition Zero won't ship November 18th as promised. Most game retailers have pushed the date back to 12/14, which seems to be an especially odd thing to do to a game that's supposedly coming out in two weeks. Also, Valve hasn't said anything about CS: CZ's release date lately.
Again, this is just a rumor and it seems very hard to believe, considering CS: CZ supposedly went gold nearly a month ago.



I really hope this is a rumor. CZ was one of the games I was looking foward to this month. If anyone starts saying, "CZ sucks" or, "No one cares." I will hunt them down and... bruise them.

I dbout this is true, but if it is; I'd like to VALVe get out of this one. Seeing as how they've already announced it's Gold.

If and I say IF this is true, VALVe better show their cards or a lot of community fans will lose their belief in VALVe, even the ones who don't care about CS:CZ. A lot of people are fed up with the poor communication and generally feel screwed over by them.

Yeha they announced it was gold but they never said it would be released on time. And I doubt it's true too but I thought it was just a tidbit of info.

it cant really be true since the full CS:CZ is out in an illegal version...would be knda wierd...parhaps that is the reason tho?

December 14th was the release date when I asked at the local Gamestop 2 days ago. :-/
But it also had HL2 as being released on like the 14th of November I think...

The CS:CZ that is "out in an illegal version" is NOT the full version, it's Ritual's old work, May, at best.. the one that went gold is the Turtle Rock Studios version, which isn't the same game at all. They took a single player mission based game, scrapped it and went for a glorified map-pack with bots and retextured maps. And then they threw Ritual's work in the "Deleted Scenes" category..

One of the strong points of CZ for me was the new player/weapon models for multiplayer, but since that's not going to make the cut, I doubt I'll be buying CZ


And I love how Fragmaster posts a rumor as news, AND trusts retailer dates.. go figure.

I think our friend Fragmaster is trying to take a wild guess here so that incase it is delayed he will look extremely smart as all his "predictions" were correct.
