I'll be there. Anyone else going? It's the live taping they're doing for HBO, so it should be damn fine.

I wish I leaved near there, I'd be there. :(

Isn't it sold out? If not... :D! But whatever. My heart still belongs to the Walsh Bros (<3 <3 <3)

I live in MD, but I'm making the trek up there, it's not too far away from NY

Does anyone else just not get the appeal with this guy?

Dane Cook is a huge piece of shit. His face just magnetically attracts my fists. Seriously, he thinks he's this like brilliant comedic godsend when in reality, he just beats his stupid, usually unfunny jokes into a mass of crap on the ground. Then to top it off, he takes modeling shots. When the whole Dane Cook thing starting becoming the newest bandwagon, I looked him up online only to be invaded with a mass of him standing around with a tight black tank top and fashionably out of place hair. Just to drive it home, I downloaded a whole bunch of his skits, probably 10. I'm not kidding, I laughed twice. I don't remember the first joke, but the other one that made me laugh was his comment about the chunks of nestle quik that you can never manage to stir into the drink. Okay, that was funny, I admit it. This inherently proves that I don't hate Dane Cook blindly.

Also, I am not a fan of comedians that tell stories that didn't actually happen. Dane Cook seems to be the type of guy who embraces this practice and it pisses me off. No, the bitch behind the counter DIDN'T say that to you, sorry Dane - if you can't find great humor in things that actually happen to you, then you're not a true comic genius. Get back to your day job.

End of Dane Cook rant.

Oh, lighten the f*ck up. If you REALLY hold comedians to that kind of standard, you must not laugh very often.

Dane Cook has managed to make me lmao quite a few times...
But that might be because I'm young and juvenile and laugh at the occasional piss & fart joke... but what's the point of living if you can't laugh at something?

Seriously, he's loud, obnoxious, and in-your-face... and I like it, but I certainly like almost all kinds of comedy, from slap-stick to stuff that takes a lot of brain power to get. Laughing at stuff is cathartic.
