This premiered last night on TNT, I was wondering of anyone else watched it?

It seemed to be really focused on the action, the kinda show you watch just to see stuff getting shot and blown up. It wasn't too bad, but was kinda rushed and a little to much shooting/killing/blowing up with very little storyline/plot (probably since it was the first episode)

"In Dark Blue, Dylan McDermott stars as Carter Shaw, the head of a crack undercover team of police officers who are so covert, many of their own colleagues donâ??t even know they are involved"

they're so secret even the cops dont know about them, EXTREME!

oh I get it. if police are "blues" darker blue would be even more extreme police, cuz they're darker. I want to kill the person who came up with that name

**** who writes this schlock?

"Shaw is a deeply wounded character, having lost his wife and much of his former life as he struggles to bring down criminals through complex undercover assignments. His team includes a recently married cop (played by Omari Hardwick from TNTâ??s Saved) who struggles with personal relationships he has developed while undercover; a shoot-from-the-hip officer (played by Logan Marshall-Green) whose activities make fellow team members wonder if he has gone over to the bad side; and a callow patrolwoman (played by Nicki Aycox) brought in because of her excellent skill in lying and her shady past"

such a cliche group of overachievers and mavericks. have any of you met police officers in real life?

anyways I havent seen it but will give it a chance if there's nothing better on and the wife isnt into sex that night

Sounds like TNT's answer to The Shield, only shittier.

Why even bother making cop shows when The Wire is storming around kicking every other TV shows ass at just about everything.

Wouldn't mind giving The Shield a try, mind.

Yea, that's what we need...more cop shows. As if 24, Bones, Castle, Cold Case, The Closer, CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Dexter, Fringe, Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: SVU, The Mentalist, Monk, NCIS, Numb3rs, and Pysch aren't enough.

Hey, Monk and Pysch are pretty good!

As is Dexter. Fringe is barely a "cop" show and is something I find amusing, and I hear good things about the Closer.

But xcellerate's point wasn't that all cop shows suck, its that there's already a million of them.

If anything, there aren't enough hospital shows.
