Dark Energy Confused on what to do.

ok, so I'm at the part with the dark fusion reactor, I already removed those one generator orbs at the very beginning of the game, and I'm at the top and I already destroyed the gunships and I have no idea what to do... Time eventually runs out and you know Mission failed blah blah, any help qould be apprecated.

Heres what I did

Okay, take one of those orbey things and walk over to the side(i did the right) past the pillar, then you should see a green thing that was sheilded from the other angle, and fling it into there.

Then a bunch of circley pannels come up, and you have to blast THEM all with the orbey things

I'm also stuck on the last stage of Dark Energy, and I don't understand what you mean by this...what do you mean by walk over to the side? There seem to be many pillars.
