Dark Energy GLITCH?

I am on the dark energy level where i have to make my way upto the top but everytime i try to get on the moving platforms that go around the centre i keep getting thrown of the first 1 i get on have tryed it on friends HL2 game and have no probs getting on,Have even changed my settings to the same as he's but still get thrown off any ideas why?:

Hmmm... are you sure you are jumping on the moving pylons, not the platforms? Also, check around, maybe you're jumping on the wrong ones.

Ther are only the 3 platforms that move around the centre and i have tried all of them,As soon as it starts moving i get thrown off i have even put some dead bodys on it to see if that helps but still no good,

Hmmm, i've never heard of such a bug, have you tried reloading the level, perhaps from the chapter screen or from a previous save?

just noclip over to the right one......easy as pie

hit "~" then enter "sv_cheats 1" then "noclip" then "noclip" again to turn it off....incase ur a n00b

~ is found under escape and above Tab...you have to enable it's usage in Options>Keyboard>Advanced> Enable Console

i don't remeber having to jump to anything like that.....anyway....you have to be in game to use sv_cheats and noclip...


do it while your actually playing

and don't put quotes around anything

Big thankyou to everybody for helping me out i have no completed the game via the sv_cheats 1 noclip method to get upon to the next level.

There's a bug sometimes when you get the super ggun, I've seen people who post they can't jump - pretty random.

There's a bug sometimes when you get the super ggun, I've seen people who post they can't jump - pretty random.

Apparently it's caused when you press the jump button while you are riding one of the pods. When you get out of the pod you can't jump anymore.
