My impressions of the video.

The level design looks early, but overall the game shows the adopted pro/cons of the source engine.

Outstanding character models, particles, and physics...especially the first person hand models.

The source engine really is the capable engine when it comes to interactive envrionments. The highest point of the video is likely the coast scene where the player casts ice magic on the ground and runs around the corner. The player then waits for the enemy to come around and slip on the ice to fall into the coast. Very effective, especially because the 3-D skybox used in that scene is broadcast in such a broad manner. Feels like a huge envrionment.

I usually hate fantasy games because I hate how phony the storylines are, but I just might have to take second looks at this one .

Wow. There is a lot of really great stuff in the video! The player hand models look amazing, esp. the fire ones. The ice spell looks really well-done too, esp with the physics, which look to play a big part in this game too. And I love the backstabbing action! Great animations! It looks much more satisfying than in other titles. This is definitely worth keeping an eye on!

VII was second best IMO, I liked VI the most.

and IX sucked.

IX was horrible on the technical side, and it seemed that they tried to make the characters look ugly. But it had a few intresting things.

I remember when the army was ambushed and I traveled all over the world trying to figure out what do until I finally did some side quests and died in one of them. I was expecting the regular death scene, boy was I suprised!

Oh... Might and Magic.
The one of PS2 was... crappy to say the least.
This one looks a bit better.
