What happened to the futuristic space ship setting?
thats RE4 camera view
It's an RE4 camera view, and not a Splinter Cell one, since the character always points in the direction of the camera.
(I'm an alpha tester for that game *SHHHH*)
Ok... That's just stupid. Sounds like something someone would say who saw the word "WoW" and didn't know it stood for World of Warcraft so he took it as the new "cool" way to say it.Danimal: It's WoW as in "wow - how nice!"
Pretty much... I just felt excited that it was finally being shown off, and that I, in a way, had something to do with itI'm guessing there is an NDA so I won't ask you about the game.

Screw that, what the hell happened to "Dark Sector" the ambitious Massively Multiplayer First Person shooter that was supposed to take the Unreal Tournament philosophy and then augment it with space flight and tons of crazy shit?what the hell happened to the futuristic space ship setting?
but the suit looks more demon-like that futuristic-like
This was in Game Informer. They completely threw out the stealth futurstic setting for a modern one. Honestly, the plot and gameplay sounds exactly like RE4. You're a government agent sent into some Russian city or village and a virus has been released, turning some of the people there into monsters and you yourself get infected with it and it begins to consume your body and stuff. But you get a cool throwing spike thing and other powers with it.
In 2006, major overhauls to the game were revealed, showing a completely different looking main character, and a noticeable less sci-fi setting. The developers (according to the November 2006 Game Informer issue) changed the tone of the game because when the team first started on the game, sci-fi shooters were a big flagship in games, but when the potential of next gen hardware was realized, most gaming companies opted for a more realistic look for their games, so Digital Extremes followed suit.
This is ****ing bullshit.
According to wikipedia:
So basically, they want to follow the crowd. How wonderful. Go choke on some cocks.
big flaship of the time, well is true but atleast dark sector looked original
and what next they will offer tutorials and cheat codes to sell and whe will be able to steal cars and play whit 50 cent?
I challenge you all to look those screens whiout another famous game coming to your mind
That last part is sort of stupid as that applies to any game. It's just natural for us to bring up the similarities between two games and complain about them. Me personally, I'd rather have them stick to the same formula if they continually improve upon it as opposed to them trying something new and it completely blowing up in their faces.
Chances are the game just wasn't working as what it was.
I never even heard of this game until i saw this thread, looks interesting, but then again a few people are giving negative fews on it, causing me to actually get off my ass and look into it ! Damn You !
Wheres your avatar ?Developed by the same people who made Pariah. Says it all really.
