i've never been to a concert, but i got interested in this band after somebody recommended it, and i have pretty similar taste in music as him and trust his opinions... so i went to their website www.dashboardconfessional.com and they have a few songs up to download LEGALLY off their site (ghost of a good thing is the best out of those). msn entertainment also has some streaming videos up--hands down, screaming infidelities, hands down (live version--audience singing along). yahoo also has another video up. i heard they're really good live and that the audience is amazing and everybody sings along to the songs. i am probably going to buy one of their cds very soon. but i saw their performance of politik (my favorite coldplay song--absolutely amazing especially when you hit the middle when it totally changes--blows me away every time i hear it) on the grammy's--it looked like chris martin was really passionate with his performance.
