Data Transfer Help

I'm trying to transfer data from my old PC to my just newly bought PC. Is there a way you can do so with an Ethernet cable or a USB cable? I've tried both but haven't had any luck. I need help. Thanks.

If they're both running a fairly recent version of Windows, it shouldn't be a problem. Connect them to a router or hub, and make sure they are in the same workgroup. Direct transfer with ethernet - haven't tried that.

If that fails, just swap out the HDD.

Much faster for bigger files.
