I was watching his "best Off" the other day on dvd. have you guys seen the trick where he flys ? I'm really wondering if it's fake, as there is no logical answer on how the hell does he do that. They even lock the man in a glass box and he still flys....

There is a logical answer, what do you think, he can actually fly? He's not a pixy. Some of his tricks are so difficult to understand, but thats what makes them so impressive. I like not knowing how they are done

Is it anything like David Blane's levitation trick? Blane's was quite funny, in that he was simply standing on his tiptoe on one foot, but at an angle, so that the people in the street couldn't see it. Then he would go into a studio then get wires to lift him high into the air, then overlay the reactoins of the people from the street to make it look like they were actually there.

Hardly, as a magician, as an illusionist he is the best there is. I'm a huge fan, in fact i went to see Derren live at the palace theatre in London, he threw foam rings randomly into the crowd, asked people for their surname and intials and would tell them their address and phone number. He also did some amazing other tricks...the man is my hero.

I watch in a documental about magicians and it say that magicians use distraction to make its trick,so when a magician told you to looks to something is distracting you to make the trick
for example a cool trick is where you hold a coin in your hand and you say you will disapear it and whit the other hand you grab a pencil and you move the hand whit the pencil in a angle from your head tot he coin counting numbers saying you will disapear it,and when you reach 3 when your hand is close to your head you quickly put the pencil in your ear and when the empty hands reacht he coin you say "oops the pencil disapeared

stil there is people that make incredible things
