in day of defeat I get big hideous ugly white squares instad of dynamic barell sparking.. they piss the crap out of me and make me want to quit.. any ideas? heard of this problem before?

I've been getting horrid FPS while playing DoD on my brand new computer... how much does that suck? I did already had to fix one problem of my mouse and keyboard not responding by making the Steam client a 'low priority' process. :x Didn't help my FPS though... that's ****ed up when Far Cry runs four times better than DoD...

I've had this problem, just disable the fog effects that are located somewhere in the options menu and it should go away. Or, just have the 2d map on; fog won't be dispayed when it is up.
