I'm in the process of upgrading my Rig. The first two items on my shopping list is a new Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Socket 775 2.13GHz (Readers of PC Pro will understand the reason).
I have seen a corresponding 775pin motherboard (Gigabyte S775 Intel 965P ATX GLan 8CH Audio ATX) to go with it, but it mentions that it takes DDR2 Ram.
The question that I'm asking is will a DDR2 capable motherboard be able to take conventional DDR1 Ram?
