Dead body's dissapear after i kill them.

I got a problem, i'm playing through HL2 for the 2nd time now and i used a cheat at the beginning of HL2 (trainstation) so that i could get the BLUE manipulator gun.. in order to do that i went to the last lvl, got the blue manipulator, went back to the first map and started playing.. but now whenever i kill a combine they dissapear (just like they dissapear in the last few maps when you use the blue gravity gun on them)
It happens with ALL weapons, pistol, rocket launcher etc..

Is there a console command to make this stop?

You fool, you shouldn't have been so impatient, now its not gonna be as exciting when you get 'new' guns

And sorry, but ive not got a clue on your problem

If youre still in the trainstation, then maybe reinstall the game without trying to get the uber manipulator on the first level

I have the same problem.

I thought it was hilarious, though, that the Combine are running around and smacking innocent civilians over the head and they disappear.

I didn't think it so hilarious that my attempts to nail Combine to the ceiling with the crossbow just result in them disappearing as well, however.

There's been some talk in the main HL2 forum here about the blue gun and starting off with it. People were complaining about the number of threads about it, so maybe a thread there has some kind of solution.

Ah, nailing Combine. :thumbs:

You can use the console to give make you indestructable, give all weapons, increase the maximum number of crossbow bolts and give ammo:

sv_cheats 1
god
impulse 101
sk_max_crossbox [maximum number of bolts]
item_ammo_crossbow

I'd guess a bind command for the ammo one would save the trouble of typing the command in over and over. Not sure how to bind that yet. You can also change the gravity to help nail combine to unusual places:

sv_gravity [gravity strength]

50 is a good number.

U MUST READ THE ENTIRE THING TO FIND THE SOLUTION: lol crushenator is funny but ive had this problem and ive fixed it took me hour after hour after hour after hour to fix it when the solution was actually simple at first i gave up but then i said ill go back and figure this out but then i gave up again and went back and forth back and forth back then i found out the simple solution the solution was so positively simple but first let me tell u this story when i couldnt find it out i actually went to my girlfriends faked like i was crying and we did some classified stuff wich is to mature to post in these http://www.halflife2.net/foru,s/showthread.php?t=57329 i hope this dosent turn out a link i hate links do u hate links no finallt heres the solution
