Deadly gas release from Lakes

Back in the 1980's, high concentration of Carbon Dioxide released by two lakes, killed more than 2,000 people.

The pipelines that were put in place to prevent a similar catastrophe in not enough, according to this article

Ah yes i remember this, i'm sure those pipes will remove the gas enough, the levels to build up will take so much longer to all that damage again. Odd thing really.
