I honestly cannot believe this.
Ok, so while randomly checking out some news on gamespot.com, I accidently click a link that brings me to fileplanet.com. I see, right on the top of the page, how they are giving out keys to the crysis beta. I knew about fileplanet.com doing this for a while now, but I didnt expect I would be lucky enough to get a key. I click on the link, and what do you know: they're giving out their last batch of keys right now.
I say, "Oh sh*t! Sweet!" cause I've been watching this game for awhile. I register as a member, paying the $15.00 fee they ripped me off with, and pressed "Join the beta". Now comes the complete BS part: They ask for some system information, I give it to em. Apparently, my $1,200 PC is not up-to-par enough to play the damn game. I'm well aware I can't play the game at full settings, but I'm interested in the game and just paid $15 goddamn dollars. At least let me play it at low or medium settings cause I just paid to get it.
Alright, so this thread isn't about just me bitching at FilePlanet.com. Just an insight to those of you who might purchase membership to fileplanet.com to "Join the beta" and not have the best PC out there. If you don't have a high-end computer, make sure to lie about your PC stats, otherwise you'll get nothing but a sh*tty membership to fileplanet.com.
Edit: I guess they pushed back the demo to late October aswell: http://www.incrysis.com/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=200331#p200331
