"For three weeks Cindy Sheehan has made inflammatory and untrue statements about the mission our troops have been serving," said Johns, who says Cindy's demands of Bush are merely a way of continuing "her political and personal attacks against him. Yet, she admits that she won't listen to a thing he says."

"Well, I would like to talk to you, Cindy," Johns continued. "We can talk one-on-one, in a respectful, private and sincere manner, one mother to another."

This woman is full of shit. Just look at the questions she wants to ask. She already sets out to accuse her of supporting the terrorists. Wow, really respectful, Deborah.

"And I would like to invite Cindy Sheehan to honor the requests from the overwhelming majority of our troops who ask the American people to not waver in their resolve to support the efforts our troops are serving in."

What overwhelming majority, Cindy? And why exactly should we support these efforts when we find them to be so wrong?

Think hard. Think hard.

I edited my post for clarification.

She's full of shit not because of her views, but because she proposes, as I quote, a "respectful, private, and sincere" one-on-one. Yet the very questions she says she will ask already imply that Sheehan is supporting the terrorists.

I'm sorry, but this doesn't strike me as anything that will turn out productive or healthy. It will just be two women butting heads.

I'm sorry but anyone who uses terms like "fuhrer bush" or "The real terrorist" to refer to Bush is looney and full of shit, so that applies to Cindy.

Sheehan wants a second meeting with President Bush and will refuse to listen to a thing said, essentially she wants to yell, scream, and preach at him.

She didn't seem so adamantly against him before when she said this about their first meeting-
"I now know he's sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis. I know he's sorry and feels some pain for our loss. And I know he's a man of faith." http://www.thereporter.com/republished/ci_2923921

I never said Cindy had all her marbles either.

You can stop assuming that I support her by default.

Now wait just a minute - I'm gathering that you expected rational, rhetoric-free arguments from either of these parties? I'm surprised they aren't already sponsored by somebody (unless they are - I've not paid much attention to either).

One can always hope. :\

So i guess your against Sheehan, RakuraiTenjin?

Do you actually believe she emboldens terrorists and undermines the troops?

Dude, its probably easier to argue that a president who invades countries on lies does both on a much grander scale than could ever be achieved by Sheehan.

In my opinion they're both stupid.

However, Sheehan seems genuinely traumatized by her son's death, while this new woman seems to be just piggybacking onto the media blitz.
