I've been having some problems when saving decals with alpha maps into .vtf images. It seems that there are always errors on the very edges of the images. This becomes a problem when I try to create images that tile seamlessly.
This is what the .vtf image looks like on its own.

I've attached an picture that shows the problem.

The top tiled image was assembled using the original .psd images. The bottom texture was tiled using the .vtf images. As you can see, the edges of the image where it should tile seamlessly have been corrupted.
Is this an issue with the .vtf format? Is there a specific way of saving a .vtf file to avoid this happening?
