Hello I'm Wanting To run a dedicated server for my clan. And there were abt 4 people in the server and they got 1000ms+ ive got a 512/128k cable connection plz help are there like settings that can help me

do they have a good connection too? that 1000ms+ is amazing.. maybe.. a firewall? or something.. port forwarding.. heh. Its late sorry.
First of all. what are your system specs? are they decent? Do you have anything in the background running? Because there is more to it then just your connection. Your computer is basically running the server (duh) and if your computer lags everyone else will more.

my comp is running a p4 3.0ghz 512mb sdram Gigabyte Mobo And Crappy fx5200 i donoo whats wrong maybe i dont have enough upload or something im not running anything in the background they have 512k connection as well..

That's not a lot upload... Maybe you can contact your ISP and ask if they will raise it (for more money, of course
)Also, and I can't stress this enough : If you run a dedicated server, DO NOT JOIN IT YOURSELF. You will lag everyone to death if you do.
