Ok.... I'm trying to set up my server for The Specialists. Quite a wile ago I had my own server and every thing was super. Then they updated TS to 2.1 and Admin Mod wouldn't work any more.
So I stopped playing for a little bit, and just a little wile ago I desided to try it out again.
I got the newest Admin Mod and installed it and everything....but.....it dosn't work..
What happens is.... When I try to start up the dedicated server, it just dosn't start.
The dedicated server console dosn't come up at all, it just dosn't do anything.
I've been on other forums trying to figure out what it is and I've narrowed it down to this..
The problem is with the liblist.gam file.
In the file is the line.. gamedll "addons/metamod/dlls/metamod.dll"
Normaly it is just gamedll "dlls/mp.dll"
When I have dlls/mp.dll it works.
When I put on addons/metamod/dlls/metamod.dll , it does not work. It is the correct file path, the file is there. And I have tryed to get different version of Metamod. Didn't help.
Some one said to swich out addons/metamodblahblahblah, with the original, dlls/mpblah, and run it (which works) and then change it back to the metamod thing and run it again.
That did nothing.
What do I DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOsss
